Trio Nacedo was founded in 2017 in San Sebastián, Spain. Its members have been attached to chamber music since early age. The concert programs seek a sense of coherence in terms of theme and meaning, with the intention of presenting a relevant artistic experience to the contemporary listener.

The concept of the recital as a space and moment of reflection with the audience, of intimacy and community at the same time, is attempted through a global idea that normally underlies the selection of musical works for each concert, as can be “humor”, “catastrophe and hope” or “mathematics”. They are curious about discovering, exploring and disseminating the vast trio repertoire from the Renaissance to nowadays. They also love working with living composers, as well as trying their own arrangements for the ensemble.

They have received advice from musicians like Andoni Mercero, Lise Berthaud, Claudio Martínez-Mehner or Xavier Gagnepain, and they have been finalists/awarded in several chamber music competitions, among them the “Jeunesses Musicales” Permanent Competition Spain (2017) and the “Antón García Abril” International Competition (2019).

In addition, the members add to their chamber music activity a long orchestral activity (SHMF, EUYO, Lucerne Festival, Flanders Opera). Currently, its members are carrying out masters/research projects at conservatories like Antwerp, Freiburg in Breisgau and Geneva.
