Established in 2020, Trio Aeonium consists of Cristina Papini – violin, Silvia Gira – violoncello and Andrea Napoleoni – piano.

The members studied in the best Italian academies, including the National Academy of Santa Cecilia in Rome, where they inattended instrumental master courses with Sonig Tchakerian, Giovanni Sollima and Benedetto Lupo. Currently the trio attends the High Specialization Course in Chamber Music at the afore mentioned Accademia under the guidance of Carlo Fabiano as well as the Second level Master at the Arrigo Boito Conservatory of Parma with the Trio di Parma – Ivan Rabaglia, Enrico Bronzi, Alberto Miodini – and Pierpaolo Maurizzi.

Trio Aeonium was several times a guest on Rai Radio 3, where it made its debut last June. The ensemble has been invited to important festivals such as Trame Sonore, Ass. Kreisleriana and Il Suono di Liszt a Villa d’Este.

Trio Aeonium was first prize winner at the Città Sarzana and second prize winner at the Swiss International Competition.
